Visitation for Gerald "Jerry" K. Engvall of Roselle, formerly of Addison will be held Wednesday 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 333 S. Roselle Rd. Roselle. Thursday lying in state 11:30a.m. until time of service 12:30p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church 405 S. Rush Street Roselle, 60172. Committal service following at Chapel Hill Gardens West.
Born February 11, 1936 in Melrose Park, IL, Jerry died Monday July 18, 2011.
He was a veteran of the US Navy, member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #73 and member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved his family very much and enjoyed his grandchildren.
Jerry is the beloved husband of 50 years of Joan nee Snyder; loving father of Jeffrey (Darlene) of Elgin and Jan (Peter) Ribando of Spring Grove; cherished grandfather of Jerred Engvall and Lauren and Krista Ribando; dear brother of the late Sandra (James) Brusa.
