George Prochnow of Bloomingdale formerly of Chicago; beloved husband of Christine (nee Tharpe); loving father Ralph (Julie) and Cheryl; step-father of Sharon (the late Joseph) Hernandez; step grandfather of Joe (Tammy) Hernandez, Jr.; great great grandfather of Tayler, Tanya and Sasha; brother of the late Lorraine; proud master of Toby.
George worked for Commonweatlh Edison for over 30 years, he loved cars and enjoyed tinkering in his garage and was happy being home.
Visitation Friday, January 10th, 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral 1:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle. Burial Memory Gardens.
