George L. McCann, Sr., of Streamwood. Beloved husband of the late Barbara M.; loving father of Victoria (Rob) Tillman, Barbara (Woody) Cantrell, George L. McCann Jr., Michael (Tracy) McCann; cherished grandfather of Michelle(Steve), Tarra, Bryant (Christina), Kalley (Matthew),Cassidy, Tara, Shaun and Rae( Andy); proud great grandfather of 10; dear son of the late Raymond and the late Lillian(nee:Neuman) McCann; fond brother of the late Raymond Jr. (the late Joy)McCann, the late Patricia (the late Joe) Senase and the late Terrance (Eulalia)McCann; he is also survived by his companion Maria Calabrese. George was a proud member of Teamsters Local 705 and 703. He also proudly served his country with the Marines during the Korean war.
Memorial Visitation Saturday, March 5th, 9:00am until time of service 1:00pm, Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Inurnment to follow in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
