George Haacker

March 2, 1932 — July 8, 2025

George W Haacker born 3-2-1932 in Chicago, Illinois passed away recently on 7-8-2025 @ the age of 93. George was a Korean War veteran of the US ARMY. He was also a longtime union carpenter of local #58. Father of 5, grandfather of 12, and great grandfather to many great grand children. He had been married to his wife, Joan, for 65 years before her death in April of 2022. He raised his family in the Village of Streamwood since 1964. He was preceded in death by his wife (Joan), son (Charles), both parents, and grandparents, his brother (Ron) and his sister (Joyce). He is survived by his children Lydia (Robert), Valerie (Charles), David (Terri) and Daniel (Rachelle). He will be missed by many. Arrangements have yet to be made. May he be accepted into the arms of Jesus.
