George Egan

George F. Egan, of Bartlett; husband of Carol, nee Mackowski; dad of Nancy, Gary (Judy), John, Sandy (Greg) Wood, Robin Ringl, Susan (late Jerry) Spence, Karen (David) Fitzsimmons and David (Tina) Huffman; grandpa/Pop Pop of 17; brother of Bill (Beverly), Barbara (late Barry) Goodhues and the late Jerry (Sue); son of the late Geroge F. and Helen Egan,nee Brown. George retired from his sales career at Omni Glow in 2005 which gave him more time to do the things he enjoyed like raquetball, biking, swimming and golf. He traveled all over the United States for both work and vacations. He was known to tell a great joke and an animated story. His family, especially his grandchildren, had the ability to put the biggest smile on his face. He will be missed by many and was truly loved by all. Visitation Tuesday, January 16th, 3:00 - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 2:30 pm. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory following his service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517 would be appreciated.
