Geneva Porter(nee Langston), 94, passed away Monday, January 23. Geneva was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, a true reflection of a family matriarch. Beloved wife of 70 years of the late Hubert; loving mother of John F.(Jodi), Owen R.(the late Debbie), the late David, the late LaVonne Garofolo, and the late Daina Sornsen; very proud grandmother of many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; fond sister of the late Arthur, Roger, Billy Hugh, and Herman Langston, and the late Mary Lou Miller, Joy Ruth Jackson, Ersey Faulk, and Imogene Fellers. Visitation Friday, January 27 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd.(at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg.
