Gaurang earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and his masters degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, exemplifying his spirit of determination and excellence. Gaurang had a distinguished engineering career at RR Donnely and as a consultant in the industry. He had a remarkable talent for identifying new business opportunities, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and innovative mindset.
A man of varied interests and abundant energy, Gaurang was an avid sports and music enthusiast who lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed friendly competitions, whether on the golf course, tennis court, or table tennis table. His love for Bollywood music and spontaneous singing of classic Hindi film songs often brightened social gatherings.
Gaurang's enthusiasm and love for life was truly infectious, bringing joy to those around him. His engaging and caring nature drew people to him, resulting in a close-knit circle of friends and family. He was deeply connected to his large and loving extended Mehta and Bhatt families. Gaurang, and his wife, Rita, were known to lovingly open their home to young family members, further exemplifying their generosity and commitment to their family.
He was a loving father, brother, husband, uncle, father-in-law, and a friend to all. Gaurang demonstrated remarkable strength and an unwavering positive outlook, inspiring those around him with his resilient spirit. His legacy will continue to shine brightly, and the beautiful memories will live on with all who knew him.
