Gary W. Kasten, 77, of Hanover Park, died Thursday, November 21, 2024. Born November 4, 1947, in Green Bay, WI. Gary enjoyed walking, playing slots and spending time with his family. Beloved husband of 44 years to Marcia (nee Gutreuter); loving dad of Ryan (Tracy), Chris and Andy Kasten; cherished grandpa of twins George and Marie, Seth, Wyatt, Phoenix and Sylas; dear son of the late Ervin Kasten, Harlan Wuncsh and June Kasten Wunsch; kind brother of Wayne (Helen) Kasten, Jean Kasten, Judy (Dave) Ehley and Tom (Annette) Wunsch; fond brother -in-law of Jim (Janice) Gutreuter, Tom Gutreuter and uncle and cousin to many. Visitation 12:00pm until time of service 3:00pm Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd (1/4 mile south of Irving Park Rd). Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
