Gary Heck

Gary D. Heck, 74, of Streamwood, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023. A Viet Nam War Veteran who served in the US Navy and Naval Reserves, Gary was an electrician for over 45 years. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed his sacred time at the lake as well as old cars, motorcycles, and especially Clint Eastwood movies. He will be remebered for his sense of humor, quick wit, and never giving a straight answer first. Beloved husband of Terri (nee Ostergreen) for 51 years; loving father of Sherrie Litke, David (Courtney), and the late Traci (Brian) Kuchenny; cherished grandfather of Kristal, Arielle, Briana, Ashten, Kayleigh, and a baby boy on the way; proud great grandfather of Valentino, Analaya, and another on the way; dear brother of the late Gale (the late Kent) Carlson; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, May 17 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm where services will be held at 6:00pm. Following services cremation private at Countryside Crematory.
