Gary Giggey

Gary L. Giggey, 65, of Streamwood, died Thursday, August 13, 2009 in Elk Grove Village.
Born December 12, 1943 in Yarmouth, Maine, he was the son of Eldrid and Harriet (nee Savage). A veteran of the Vietnam War, Gary served in the Navy as a fighter pilot. Gary enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family.
Survivors include wife Joyce (nee Geffe); children Lindsay, Janelle, and Andrew; brothers and sisters Barbara, Larry, Donaline and Pamela; father-in-law Walter Geffe and mother-in-law Irene Geffe; brothers-in-law Glenn (Gail)and David Geffe; sister-in-law Karen (Bill) Weikel; many nieces and nephews and special pet Sydney.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Eldrid Jr.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until time
of service 6 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streawmwood. Following the services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
