Fritz Miller

Fritz Henry Miller, 40 year resident of Bartlett, passed away Friday, January 20 in Hoffman Estates. He was born September 21, 1916 in Fountain Township, MN. Loving husband of 71 years to Dorothy (nee White). Devoted father to Reverend David P. (Joyce) of Bonduel, WI, Roger H. (Susan) of Menomonee Falls, WI, Linda L. (Philip)Pendelton, Ohio, Verne W. (Mie) of Beloit, WI, Dean H. (Lisa) of Lombard and Mark J. of Bartlett. Cherished grandfather of Kristine, Keri, Jeffery and Kevin and great-grandfather of Rachel, Zachary, Amanda and Bryan. Loving brother of Harry, Mildred and the late Elmer, Paul and Amalia.

Fritz worked for Milwaukee Road from 1940 to 1981, retiring as comptroller. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II and for 17 years in the reserves. He volunteered in Hanover Township for over 20 years and served as treasurer in Bartlett on the police pension board.

Visitation Monday, January 23, 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 950 South Bartlett Road, (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Lying in State Tuesday 10:30 a.m. until time of service, 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1116 East Devon Avenue, Bartlett. Interment Bartlett Cemetery.
