Visitation for Frederick Bishop Jansen of Roselle for 42 years will be held Friday 5:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 333 S. Roselle Road Roselle. Interment will be private Sycamore, Il.
A memorial service will be held Sunday 2:00p.m. at Roselle United Methodist Church 206 S. Rush St. Roselle.
Born Sept. 2, 1927 in Sycamore Fred died Monday Nov. 8, 2010.
Fred worked for Easter Seals for 2 years before starting the Physical Therapy dept. at Sycamore Hospital. He continued his career to Resurrection Hospital and later to the Board of Education working at Burbank School and Hanson Park in Chicago.
He is the beloved husband of 45 years of Katherine nee Olsen; loving father of Karen (Randy) Harkenrider of Ft. Wayne, IN and David F. of Roselle; cherished grandfather of Adam T. and Eric J. Breneman; dear brother of Donna Brower of Wheaton and the late Dorothy Sohl.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to American Diabetes Association, Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or Roselle United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
