Fred Oscarson, 88, formerly of Morton Grove, of Hoffman Estates, died September 6, 2013. Fred was the beloved husband of Janet for over 60 years; Loving father of Christine (Lyle) Hill, Martin (Leslie), and Jeff (Laura); Proud grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 5; Cherished brother of Joan Patrick.
Fred was an Army veteran, having served during World War II. A member of Gyro International, the VFW and the Morton Grove American Legion Post #134 for 57 years, he was a life long Cubs fan.
Visitation for Fred Tuesday, September 10, 10:00a.m. until time of service 12Noon at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Interment Memory Gardens.
