A Memorial Visitation for Fred E. Dobrovolny of South Elgin, formerly of Bloomingdale will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 95 S. Gilbert St. (at State St.) South Elgin. Military presentation 7:00p.m. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
Fred is the beloved husband of 57 years of Marlene A. nee Bock; loving father of David (Vicki) and Sara (Angie Rivera) Dobrovolny; cherished grandfather of Wyatt, Jackson, Sydney, Mia, Tyson and Trinity; dear brother of Walter (the late Sue) and the late Chuck (Theresa) Dobrovolny and Rose (the late Alex) Leonchik; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He will also be missed by his faithful companion "Sasha" and reunited with his dogs "Majic" and "Chloe".
