Franklyn G. Euliano, a cherished resident of Hanover Park, IL, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on August 15, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, Franklyn lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and passions.
Franklyn was a proud veteran of the United States Army, where he served his country with honor and distinction. After his military service, Franklyn became known for his talent and skill as a baker, bringing joy and warmth to countless homes with his delicious creations.
Aside from his professional life, Franklyn was a man of many interests, including drawing cartoons, painting, cooking, and biking. He was also a gifted storyteller who loved spending time with his family, making memories, and sharing laughter.
Franklyn is survived by his devoted wife, June (nee Bonfanti), and his loving children: John (Patti) Euliano, Steve (Lynn) Euliano Sr, and Diane (Jim) Dybas. He was the proud grandfather of Michael, Angela, Theresa (Brian), Erica, Steve Jr., Shane, Scott (Katherine), Nicolas (Andrea), Melissa, Alexandria (Quajo), and Matthew (Jennifer). His legacy lives on in his cherished great-grandchildren: Scarlett, Connor, Logan, Emery, Gabriel, Jeremiah, Elijah, Oliver, Johnny, Elliana, Everett, Maribella, Theo, Dawson, Layla, and Dallas.
Franklyn was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Louis and Theresa Euliano, and his siblings Rudy, Marie, and Pat, who have now welcomed him into the eternal embrace.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Franklyn's life during the visitation at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of Streamwood, IL, on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Friday, July 24th, 2026, at 10:00 am. Following the service, Franklyn will be laid to rest with military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois, at 12:30 pm.
