Franklin A. Puncochar,88, of West Chicago, formerly of Chicago; husband of Thalia, nee Ondrejkovic, father of Susan Puncochar of Eagle River, Wisconsin and Neal of Hanover Park; brother of the late William (late Grace); uncle of many nieces and nephews; many friends; master of 2 dogs Deacon, a Golden Retriever and Ben-G a Schnauzer. Franklin met Thalia on a blind date over 64 years ago. He was described by his wife as kind and gentle. He never complained. He was a great husband and dad. He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a dedicated employee for over 50 years at Chicago Rivet and Machine Co. In his spare time he enjoyed repairing watches and training dogs. Cremation was private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 S. Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.
