Frank S. Vasquez, 87, of Streamwood, IL (formerly Bensenville, IL) passed peacefully on December 23, 2020. Loving father of Kelly (Brandon) Peacy of Austin, TX and Andrew Vasquez of Streamwood, IL; and dear brother of Juanita (Donald) Piccinini of St. Cloud, FL.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Frank served his country in the early 1950’s and was stationed in Fairbanks, AK. Born and raised in Chicago, Frank loved his Chicago Cubs and bled Cubbie Blue. Among many things, he will be lovingly remembered for his tremendous work ethic, kind heart and love of donuts. In accordance with his wishes, more bunting and less first pitch fastballs from the Cubs this upcoming season would be appreciated.
Military memorial service and internment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cubs Charities (https://www.mlb.com/cubs/community/cubs-charities/donate).
