Frank Newell

Frank W. Newell, 79, of Schaumburg, IL, passed away on September 30, 2025. Beloved husband of 52 years to Janet; devoted father to Frankie; loving son of the late Dr. Frank and Marian Newell; dear brother to Susan O'Connell (John), the late Beth Murphy (the late Jim), and David (Christine); and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Frank had many interests and talents: reading, playing the guitar, playing the piano, planning many road trips that took his family to all the lower 48 states, and analyzing history and current events. In his youth, he loved playing basketball and being a counselor at a camp in Wisconsin. Frank will be dearly missed. A funeral will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. with a program from approximately 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Mrs. Murphy and Sons Irish Bistro, 3905 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago.
