Frank J. Bradkowski, 90, of Keeneyville passed away on Friday, September 4. Frank was the beloved husband of the late Violet (Dolly) nee Reshel; loving father of son Keith and daughter Candy (Scott) Scheithe; proud grandfather of Brett and devoted brother to Rosemary.
Frank was born to Joseph and Amelia (Sroka) on March 5, 1925 in Chicago. He married Violet (Dolly) Reshel on December 29, 1948. Frank proudly served in the Army during WW II in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe. He cherished spending time with his grandson, Brett, spending time outdoors and maintaining his garden. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Frank is preceded by his parents, Joseph and Amelia, his wife Violet, brothers and sisters Norbert, Edward, Joseph, Eleanor, Marcella, and Richard.
Visitation for Frank, Thursday, September 10 at the Countryside Funeral Home 950 S. Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett, IL 3:00 pm until Memorial Service at 7:30 pm. Cremation was private Countryside Crematory. Information 630-289-7575 or www.countrysidefuneralhomes.com.
