Francis Zielinski

Francis R. "Frank" Zielinski, 93, a devout Roselle resident, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021. A WW II Navy Veteran, Frank was an avid Cubs fan and bowling enthusiast who was a long time board member of the Roselle Historical Society. Frank was very involved in the Roselle Community serving as Village Trustee and longtime Roselle School District #12 Board Member and President as well as CubScout Master and Baseball coach. Beloved husband of Claranne (nee Terry); loving father of Joanne Policht, David (Valerie), the late Peter (Lori), and the late Michael (Ann); proud grandfather of Annamarie Policht, Elizabeth, Joshua, and Jacob Zielinski, and Isabella and Avery Zielinski; dear brother of the late Julie (John) Marcucci and the late Richard (the late Kathy); fond uncle of 10 nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, May 20 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle. Funeral Friday 9:15am to St. Walter Church. Mass 10:00am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
