Francine “Franny” S. Smith, 67, of Huntley, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009.
Born June 10, 1942 in Chicago. She was the daughter of Barney and Matilda (nee Abrams) Smith.
Franny enjoyed reading and worked for the Schaumburg Library Outreach Program where she distributed books to needy children.
Survivors include daughter Jennifer (Dennis) Sevilla; sister Shelley Esterson and sister-in-law Denise (Robert) Wisniewski and nephews Joel, Mark, Michael and Stephen.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome “Jerry” and her parents.
Memorial Visitation will be Sunday, November 29 from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service 11 a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. Memorials to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
