Florence Rauen

Florence L. Rauen nee Schecter, 89, of Elgin; formerly of Schaumburg for 48 years. Born November 25, 1919 in Atlantic City, NJ, died Mon, March 23, 2009 in Elgin, IL; Loving mother of Joseph of Angola, IN, Marietta Schild of Schaumburg and Laura Caponi of Elgin; cherished grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 4; dear sister of Clarice Schecter of Atlantic City, NJ and the late Harold Schecter. Florence was employed at Sears for 23 years. Memorial visitation Friday 10:30 am until the time of Memorial Service 12:30 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence’s name to the American Diabetes Assoc, Chicago IL Office, 30 N.
