Florence Ann Liakos (nee Zielinski), 92, passed away surrounded by family January 23, 2015. Florence was the beloved wife of the late George Liakos; cherished sister of Ted (the late Betty) Zielinski, Rosemary (the late Jack) Ferrier, the late Frank and the late Loretta (Art) Schroeder. She will be missed by her many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation for Florence Tuesday, January 27, 2:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Road (1/2 mile South of Irving Park Road) Roselle. Funeral Wednesday 8:45a.m. to St. Isidore Church Mass 9:30a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven.
Florence loved reading and watching jeopardy and was an avid crossword puzzle player.
In lieu of flowers donations to Alexian Brothers Hospice Residence 901 Martha Street, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
