Born 3/6/1926 in Central City, IL; date of death 3/4/2010 in Streamwood; A veteran of WWII who served with the South Pacific Raiders. Wesley was a reverend in the area for many years who was well known for his Sunday morning radio show “We Are Blessed.” He enjoyed being with his family. Beloved husband for 62 yrs. of Helen nee McHenry; loving father of Terry L. (Ronald) Blue, Janet K. (Robert) Currer, Michael R. (Gloria), Kenneth R. (Donna) and Carol S. (Frank Wallmark) Begin. Cherished grandfather of Ron, Jr. (Jenny), DaLynn (Randy) Toone, Jason (Margo), Wes (Brindee), Jolynn (Jeff) Denhof, Shaun (Kim), Scott, Debra (Michael), late John (Jayme), Courtney (Miguel), Ashley (Greg), Brandi and Brittni and great-grandfather of Abbey, DJ, Morgan, Elaina, Hailey, Nate, Colby, Jordan, Cameron, the late Kinley Hope, late Jeffrey, Jessica, Jaden, Jenna, Alex, Braden, Payton, Ian James and Gracyn; caring son of the late Walter & Ethel nee Sellers; dear brother of Louise Sutherland and the late Fern French, late Donald, late Oland, late Flora May Carter, late Thelma and the late James. Visitation Monday 3:00-9:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Services Tuesday 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
