Everett Parpart

Everett F. Parpart, 97, of Streamwood, was the beloved husband of Katherine (née Miller) for 72 years; loving father of Susan, Thomas (Wendy) and Kathleen “Kittie” Kopitke; devoted grandfather of James Kopitke Jr. (Liz) and Jennifer Kopitke (fiancé David Hurley); dear great-grandfather of Andrew and Jonathan; brother of the late Bernice Nelson and beloved son of the late Fred and Violet Parpart. Everett was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and later a District Captain in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. He worked as a tool and die maker and later a purchasing agent at Honeywell for nearly 20 years. Everett was a Life Member and former Post Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5151, Streamwood as well as a member of the Streamwood Veterans Memorial Commission for over 10 years. He was born June 24, 1924 and passed November 6, 2021.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Alexian Hospice House, 901 Martha Street, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, Streamwood assisted the family with arrangements.
