Ministry Comments:
Evelyn Faulkner (Eve) to her husband, mom to all her kids and Nana to her grandchildren, was born in New York City, New York and moved to Southern California with her family at the age of eight where she grew up and went to Bell High School.
She met the love of her life, Rick, a lonely young Marine, on a corner in Long Beach California. They were married May 10, 1969, and have been married for 55 Years.
Rick and Eve moved to several locations, somewhat settling in Ontario California, where Eve was born again of the Water and the Spirit in Jesus Name. Eve loved people and lead many lives to God. She loved to worship God where ever she was, and she and Rick raised not only their three daughters, but took on the ministry of raising 15 foster daughters as well.
After a couple of years they became involved in a faith offering church building fund where she got the idea to start a wedding business. This is where she fell in love with the Victorian era, starting a collection of Victorian wedding gowns. After doing 800 weddings, Eve started a museum of her gowns and artifacts in Orange County California.
She and Rick moved to Hemet California where she opened her own business which was a ladies clothing store, her museum, and a tea room. After 20 years, Eve and Rick retired and moved to Saint Charles, Illinois to be close to their youngest daughter and their grandchildren. In October 2023, Eve had a second bout with cancer and succumbed to that cancer November 15, 2024, surrounded by her family.
