Evelyn Chanas

Evelyn Chanas (nee Junkroski), 95, formerly of Elgin, died Thursday, August 25, 2016. Born May 18, 1921 in Chicago. Evelyn loved playing Bingo, arts and crafts, and being with her family. Beloved wife of 39 years to the late Michael; loving mother to the late Judy; caring daughter of the late Jacob and Agnes (nee Michalski) Junkroski and sister of the late Gertrude, Stanley, Edward, Jake, Leonard, Marian, Elaiun and Jerry; cherished auntie to several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 9:30a.m. until time of prayers 10:30 going to St. Peter Damian Church, Mass 11:00a.m. Interment Lakewood.
