Eva Gustafson

Eva Harriett Gustafson, 80, of Hanover Park, died Friday, August 12, 2016. Born September 1, 1935 in Chicago. Eva was a graduate of University of Northern Illinois as well as the Illinois School of Nursing. She worked for many years at Illinois Masonic Hospital and then as a director at the Marklund Home where she helped disabled children. She enjoyed traveling, reading, music and was an avid Cubs fan. She will be missed by family and friends. Beloved wife of the late James, loving mom of Cynthia (Martin) Vik, David and Michael (Charlene); cherished grandma of Lars (Tara), Caitlin and Robert; dear great grandma of Gaia and Cataleya and proud owner of Harley. Memorial visitation 9:00a.m. until time of service 11:00a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Cremation was at the Countryside Crematory.
