Visitation for Eugene "Bud" McLaughlin of Algonquin, formerly of Schaumburg for 30 years, originally from Muskegon, MI, will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Liturgical Wake Service 7:00p.m. Funeral Wednesday 10:30a.m. to Church of the Holy Spirit. Mass 11:00a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel.
Born July 31, 1939 in Chicago, Bud died Saturday September 13, 2014.
1965 Graduate of University of New Mexico, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, he is a retired salesman for IBM, a longtime member of Church of the Holy Spirit, avid sports fan particularly White Sox and Notre Dame and loved spending time with his grandkids.
He is the beloved husband of Dona nee Olson; loving father of Kim (David) Holinbeck and Jason (Debbie); proud grandfather of Heather, Andrew, Sean and Meghan; dear brother of Roberta and the late Robert and Vivien.
