Eugene Dumais

Eugene Dumais of Elgin, IL died at home after a brief battle with cancer surrounded by loving family. He was 84 years young and is preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 51 years Betty (nee Olson) Dumais. His is survived by his wife Beverly (nee Wickenkamp) Dumais, his children Paul (Karen), Mark (Emily) and Susan (Ronald) Slabas; five grandchildren Joseph, Gregory, Trevor (Sarah), Michael and Kelly Dumais; two great grandchildren Rachel and Daniel; his extended Wickenkamp family; sister-in-law Linda Anderson; many nieces and nephews.


Visitation Thursday, August 17th 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 95 S. Gilbert St. (at State St.), South Elgin. Funeral Friday, 10:30 a.m. following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
