Eugene J. Bergeron, 83, of Elgin, formerly of Hanover Park. Beloved husband of 60 years to Joan (nee Lloyd); loving dad of Michael (Barb), Michelle (Johnny) Kemper; Kimberly, Dawn (Jim) Wing, Gene (Susan) and the late Chris and Sherrie; cherished grandpa of Lisa, Crystal, Joey, Shannon, Patrick, Sherrie, Josh, Chris, Nicole, Barry, Samantha, Alyssa, Kayla, Sean, Matthew and Caitlyn; dear great grandpa of Kyle, Emma, Ty, Anthony, Jazlyn, Devin, Elsie and Jacob; kind son of the late Arthur and Rebecca (nee Haywrst) and brother of the late Arthur, Evelyn, Virginia, Jack and Clarence; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Eugene was a very hard worker his whole life. He will be missed by his family. Memorial visitation 10:30a.m. until time of Mass 11:00a.m. Monday, February 29, 2016 at St. Ansgar Catholic Church, 2040 Laurel Ave, Hanover Park.
