Esther Burtz

Esther M. Burtz nee Ottoson, 93, formerly of Evanston/Skokie died May 8, 2011. Esther was the beloved wife of the late Donald Edward Wittkamp, Sr for 25 years, and the late Richard V. Burtz; Loving mother of Hap (Jan) Wittkamp of Hoffman Estates, the late Donald E. Wittkamp, Jr. Proud grandmother of Donald Wittkamp, Bill Wittkamp, Wendy Battaglia, Cheri Sleboda, Connie Harford, Brock Wittkamp. Cherished great grandmother and great great grandmother of many. Esther retired from Illinois Bell as the chief operator at the Evanston office. Services will be held Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of memorial service at 1:00 P.M. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Association Greater Illinois Chapter, 8430 W.
