Ernest Schmidt

Ernest J. Schmidt, 61, resident of Hanover Park for 38 years, died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at his home. Born December 22, 1946 in Chicago, the son of Ernest J. and Bernice M, nee Grabowski, Schmidt. A veteran of the U. S. Army serving as an A.S.A. Ernest enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, wood crafting, and model trains.
Survivors include wife Judy A., nee Kaminski, Schmidt of Hanover Park; daughter Stacy A. Schmidt of Pingree Grove; and brother Bernest J. Schmidt of Addison.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 12 p.m. until time of memorial service 2 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd, (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood.
