Marienfeld of Elgin for 3 years formerly of Des Plaines; beloved husband of 59 years to Mary (nee Clasen); loving father of Diane (Tom) Leahy, Denise (Tony) Fini and Donna (Jim) Kennedy; cherished grandfather of Tom, Erin (Jon), Carolyn (Brad), Meghan, Matthew and Patrick; proud great grandfather of Madilyn.
Visitation Wednesday, November 14th, 3-9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Lying in State Thursday 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service 11:30 a.m. at Ravenswood United Church of Christ, 2050 West Pensacola Ave., Chicago. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division, 5040 N. Pulaski Road
