Visitation for Erlinda Guce Honrade of Hoffman Estates will be held Monday November 30, 2020 6:00p.m. - 7:30p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2020 6:00p.m. - 7:30p.m., and Wednesday, December 9, 2020 11:00a.m. until time of service 12p.m. noon at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
**Due to covid-19 restrictions only 10 people will be allowed inside the funeral home. Masks are required.
With her loving family by her side, Erlinda Guce Honrade, 88, peacefully departed this earth to join her husband, Marcelo, and the Lord on Sunday, November 22, 2020. Youngest of 6, Erlinda was born on October 24, 1932 in San José, Batangas (Philippines) to the late Claudio Guce and Andrea Macasaet, she married Marcelo Honrade on December 26, 1953. Through the decades, Erlinda and Marcelo enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren in the U.S., Canada, and the Philippines, and enjoyed traveling the world together.
Erlinda’s beautiful life will live forever in the memories; loving mother of seven children: Emie (Larry) Reyes, Romy (Christine), Alex (Carol), Salvador (Julie), Ana (Vic) Villa, Babet (Tino) Jaen, and Martin (Gigi); cherished grandmother of seventeen grandchildren: Gerald, Jasper, and Katelyn Reyes, Celine and Jerome Honrade, Katrina, Jillian, and Paolo Honrade, Marco and Angelica Honrade, Andrea and Gabriel Villa, Lourdes, Luke, and Arcell Jaen, Anjelee and Emma Honrade; and proud great grandmother of Raj and Hazel.
She will be dearly missed and remembered by her many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. The family of Erlinda wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all family and friends.
