Enrique Segura

Streamwood--Enrique (Rick) Segura, 51, passed away Sunday December 1, 2019 following a valiant fight against cancer. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on July 15, 1968 and became a U.S. citizen in 2008. Rick worked for more than 25 years in the hospitality business with his most recent employment as sous chef at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Rick was passionate about his work and was well respected by his peers and supervisors. He was also passionate about cars from sports cars to pick-up trucks, but his strongest passion was for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, June Segura, his father, Alfredo Segura, his mother, Gregoria Perez and his stepfather, Ignacio Perez. Additionally he was a devoted father to Magali Isis-Segura (Sigifredo), Miranda, and Victoria Segura. He was stepfather to Shaun (Amy) McKenna, TJ (Melissa) McKenna, Michael McKenna, and Christopher McKenna. He was a loving grandfather to Alexa, Bailey, Ryan, Jake, Leela and Kaylee.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 6, 10 am at the Chapel at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington.
