Enid Edelmann

Enid S. Edelmann, age 74, nee Wagner, of Elgin and formerly of Bloomingdale; loving wife of Ronald, beloved mom of Heidi (Brian) McGuire and the late Ronnie; cherished TuTu of Carly, JP, Kevin and Keira and dear sister of Daryl Schaeffer and the late April (late Boots) Somers and the late Carl. Enid passed away peacefully, at home, on Thursday, September 26th after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born on March 24th, 1945, in Chicago, to Carl and Berniece Wagner. She married Ron on May 22nd, 1965. Enid enjoyed attending sporting events - cheering on the Bears, White Sox and Blackhawks. She adored her dogs and loved to travel She was most proud of her grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated. Memorial visitation Sunday, September 29th, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.
