Engr. Mario Co Uy, 64, of West Chicago; cherished husband of Luz, nee Aldana; devoted father of Theresa Marie Uy, Marlene Lee and Rebecca Anne (fiance Keisuke Matsuda); beloved grandpa of Clayton Rey Hartsfield; fond brother of Jimmy (Victoria) and Pancho (Simona); loving son of Maria and the late Francisco. Mario was the proud owner of WET USA, Inc. and Wet International, Inc. of Streamwood, Il. In his spare time he loved to stay active, physically and mentally. He and his wife were fortunate enough to travel to all 7 continents, the most recent being a trip to Antarctica. Any sport including scuba diving, bowling, roller blading, hockey, golfing, swimming and snow skiing. His toys included a motorcycle and a convertible Jaguar. He was also an avid reader and photographer. He loved family and everything it stood for, got the most out of life and was fearless in his adventures. Visitation Friday 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Mass Saturday10:30 a.m. at St. Walter Church, Please meet at church. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory following mass.
