Emery Paul Sippel
1942-2017
Emery Paul Sippel, known as Paul, passed away on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017, at the age of 75. He was born on Sunday, February 8th, 1942 in Chicago, IL, the son of Orville Paul Sippel and Beulah Kathryn McCray.
Paul moved from his home in Streamwood, IL to Mountain Home, Arkansas in July 2001 with his love Connie Hansen, to enjoy his retirement, though he spent his final months living with his 2 sons in Illinois.
Paul loved nature, mostly his cabin in Canada, where he spent many vacations with his family and loved ones. He was an avid fisherman and passed that love onto his sons, along with their love of Canada, and all the memories of times spent together at the cabin.
Paul loved his dogs with all his heart and was willing to do anything for them. His love for them led him to be a supporter of the ASPCA and Humane Societies. Paul also had a love of cars and hotrods, whether it was building them in his garage or watching them on tv.
Paul was a proud and loving Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Paul is survived by 2 Sons, John Paul (Stephanie) Sippel, of Poplar Grove, IL and William Michael (Nicole) Sippel, of Pingree Grove, IL. 1 Daughter, Michele Lynn (Dave) Myslinski, of Racine, WI. 6 Grandchildren, Alyssa, Tiffany, Johnny, Bryanna, Lily, and Caleb. 1 Great-Granddaughter, Olivia. 1 Brother, Mike (Nancie) Sippel. 2 Sisters, Kay (Jim) Lisiecki, Colleen (Robert) Harris. 1 Nephew, Robert. 3 Nieces, Elizabeth, Bonnie, and Lauren.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his partner and soul mate Connie Lynn Hansen, and 1 son Mark Hansen.
Visitation Saturday, November 18th 2:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service 4:00 p.m at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd.(at Barrington Road) in Streamwood, IL. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the ASPCA in honor of Paul’s love of his dogs.
