In Loving Memory: Elsa Frias

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elsa Frias, a fiercely devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left this world surrounded by the love of her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother Haydee and beloved mother figure Mama. She is survived by her loving children: Fidel Rego, Angela Rego (Brian Dadigan), Carlos Rego, and Jenkins Rego. She was the cherished grandmother of Vanessa, Brittany, Michael (Brittany), Nicholas (El), Alex, Carla, and Jenkins Jr., and the proud great-grandmother of eight.

Born and raised with an enduring spirit, Elsa embraced the formidable challenge of raising her four children as a single mother. She was a pillar of strength, successfully stepping into both parental roles to ensure her children had the best foundation. Her dedication was unwavering, and she instilled in them a resilience and love for family that remains her lasting legacy.

Elsa's greatest joy was the expansion of her beloved family. She was a dedicated grandmother to seven, and the matriarchal spirit of her family blossomed further as she became a great-grandmother to eight. Her home was a haven of unconditional love, laughter, and wisdom, where every member felt cherished and supported.

Among her most treasured companions was her dog, Gizmo, who was truly the love of her life. Their bond was extraordinary, and while she grieved his earlier passing deeply, her family takes comfort in knowing they are reunited.

Elsa Frias will be profoundly missed by her four children, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to witness her boundless capacity for love.
