Elmer Tessner

Elmer A. Tessner, 95 of Hoffman Estates, formerly of Skokie (for 50+ years); devoted husband of the late Charlotte, nee Gruzalski; father of Michael (Donna) and Donna (Sal) Tessner-Aulisio; grandfather of Bryan (Julie), Jeffrey (Jessica), Kevin (Liz), Sean, Michael, Shannon and Keven Lenahan; 5 great grandchildren; He was a member of St. Peter's Parish, a chief electrician in the Navy during WWII. A dedicated employee, for 40 years, of Westinghouse Elevators retiring as a superintendant. Beloved resident and friend of The Devonshire in Hoffman Estates. Elmer will be remembered for his humor, friendship and playing his harmonica. Visitation Saturday July 18th, 9:00 am until time of prayers 10:15 am at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral mass to follow 11:00 am at Resurrection Church 30W350 Army Trail Road Wayne, Il. Interment Maryhill. In lieu of flowers donations to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
