Visitation for Elmer J. Olson of Bartlett will be held Monday, December 8, 2014 11:00a.m. until the time of service 12noon at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Interment Oakridge-Glen Oak Cemetery.

Born December 15, 1915 in Chicago, he died Wednesday, December 3, 2014.

Elmer retired after 47 years of service at Flextronics.

He is the beloved husband of 33 years of Edith "Edie" nee Tilche; loving father of Sandra (Richard) Gallagher, Kathy (Steve) Gentis and Trudy Bellavia; cherished grandfather of Kristen (Tim) Kan, Steve (Chrissy) Gentis, Bethany Toppel, Andrew Gentis, Jessica (Chad) Lovick, Jennifer Herrera, Dan Herrera and Terry (Greg) Krammen; proud great grandfather of Dylan and Ava Kan, Jennifer (Kevin) Kodat, Michael, Patrick and Zachary Krammen, Nicholas, McKenzie and Christopher Kodat, Brighton Toppel, Maddox Lovick and Chase Gentis; dear brother of the late Whitey, Robert, Lil and Ruth; many loving nieces and nephews.
