Elmer Lawrence Kilb, 82, of Elgin. Beloved husband of Harriet (nee: Kosakowski) whom he married October 27, 1956; loving father of Joyce (Timothy) Doyle and Jane (Joseph) Orban; Dear grandfather of Katie (Steven) Kimel, Timothy John Doyle, Christine Orban; fond brother of Rosemary (The late Ralph) Ansell, Eugene (Vivian) Kilb and The late Robert (Winifred) Kilb.
Elmer worked for the Sun Times for many years and was a member of the Chicago Typographical Union #16. Visitation Tuesday, March 11th 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association 3816 Paysphere Circle
