Visitation for Elmer Carl Heinrich of Elgin, Tuesday, December 4, 4:00PM – 9:00PM with a service at 7:00PM at Countryside Funeral Home 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Born December 13, 1921, Elmer died December 1, 2012. He dedicated his life to farming, and was a life time member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Streamwood.
He was the beloved husband of Grace Rose (nee Kolze), 66 years. Loving father of Donna (Keith) Piper, and Sue (Glen) DeVries; proud grandfather of Dan (Ping), Matthew (Rachel), Ryan (Alyssa), Michelle (Brandon), and the late Joseph, and great grandfather of Evan, Liam, and Olivia. Cherished brother of William (Phyllis), and LeRoy (Corinne). He was proceeded in death by his siblings Maime, Helen, Ella, Christian, Martin, Edward, Lorraine, and Elaine.
