Elmer A. Hansen

Elmer A. Hansen, 73, of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026.
Elmer was known for his easygoing nature, warm sense of humor, and the phrase he often shared with those around him: “Life’s just peachy.” He brought laughter and comfort to friends, family, and everyone lucky enough to know him.
Throughout his career, Elmer worked with pride as a manager at Liberty Auto City, where he was respected by coworkers and customers alike for his dedication and friendly spirit.
Outside of work, Elmer enjoyed spending time on the golf course and out on the water boating—two places where he felt most at peace. Whether he was sharing stories with friends, enjoying a sunny day on the lake, or simply spending time with loved ones, Elmer valued the simple joys of life.
Elmer is survived by his loving family: Sister Janice (Jim) Lewis and his son Chris (Renee) Hansen, along with his cherished grandchildren Henry, Camilla, and Lucy. He is also survived by many extended family and their children.
His family meant the world to him, and he took great pride in watching them grow and succeed.
Elmer will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his kindness, humor, and the positivity he brought into the lives of others.

Visitation Sunday March 15, 2026 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Cumberland chapels, 8300 West Lawrence Avenue, Norridge, Illinois 60706. Funeral Monday March 16, 2026 10:30am at the chapel. Cremation will be private following services. Info (708) 456-8300
