Elizabeth Trippett

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Trippett nee McGuire of Streamwood since 1969; beloved wife for 55 years of Carl E.; loving mother of David Wayne of Schaumburg, Kenneth (Susan) of Hanover Park, Kathy (David) Van Slee of Streamwood and Mary (Leo) Brown of Sugar Grove; cherished grandmother of Kenneth (Jenny), Paul (Melissa) and Jonathan Trippett, Scott (Alicia) and David Van Slee, Tom (Jamie) Grimes and Benjamin and Michael Brown; dear sister of Frances Mae (Howard) Trippett and Verna Griggs and the late Buster and Kenneth McGuire. Betty was a wonderful wife and mother. She was one of the founders of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 5151 of Streamwood. She worked at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin for 12 years. Visitation Thursday 3:00-9:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Friday 9:15 AM to St. Ansgar Church. Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
