Betty A. Rauch(nee Hoff), 78, of South Elgin formerly of Bartlett, passed away suddenly Monday, April 6. Betty loved life, she was always up for an adventure or a reason to get together, and never wanted to miss anything. Her family and friends were so important to her and she would do anything for them. She loved country music, dancing, cooking, playing games, and watching her grandchildren grow up. She was the homeowner's association manager at Georgetown Square for over 30 years and continued to work part time for Property Management Techniques. Beloved wife of the late John "Jack"; loving mother of Christopher(Karen) and Lisa(Jeff) Hopkins; proud grandmother of Marissa, Daniel, and Amanda; dear sister of Dorothy Hoff and the late John Hoff. Visitation Saturday, April 11 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Monday, April 13 at 11:00am. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery. In a compliance with the governor's mandate, a maximum of 10 people will be allowed at any given time. People will be allowed to enter and pay their respects privately if they desire. For those who do not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like to say that it is ok, and they understand. They would like to encourage you however, to leave a fond memory or picture of Betty on this website so that they will know who to contact for Betty's celebration of life to be held at a later date.
