Elizabeth "Betty" Pellikan

Elizabeth "Betty" Pellikan (née Heraty) passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, at the age of 81. Born and raised in Chicago, Betty graduated from Alvernia High School.
In 1966, Betty married Tony Pellikan and together they raised three children. In 1973, Betty and Tony moved to Streamwood, where she became an active and devoted member of the community. She was a faithful parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a proud member of the Streamwood Women’s Auxiliary Club.
Betty's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving and doting grandmother to her eight grandchildren, always prioritizing quality time with them and attending countless activities, events, and milestones to show her unwavering support and love.
Betty's warm heart, dedication to her family, and commitment to her community will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Lucille and Jack and her husband Tony. Betty is survived by her children Donna (John) Swinford, Tony (Laura) Pellikan, and John (Jodi) Pellikan and grandchildren Jake, Aidan, Nora, TJ, Daniel, Jack, Harrison and Caera.
Visitation Wednesday May 28, 2025 9:30am until the time of service 11:30am at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd., Streamwood. Cremation will be private. Info www.countrysidefuneralhomes.com or (630)289-8054
