Elizabeth Ann Byers “Nana”, 79, of St. Charles, passed away October 28, 2023 peacefully at home with family at her side. Born April 11, 1944 in Merced, California.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kent Byers and daughter Deanna Lovelady (Daughter, Modesto California)
She is survived by sons Lance and Darin Byers; daughter-in-law Brandy Byers; grandchildren Tyler Byers, Michaela Byers, Chase Byers, Paeton Lovelady, Zachary Lovelady, Courtney Byers and Brittany Byers and great grandchild Eleanor Lovelady.
Elizabeth adored family and doted on her children and grandchildren. She loved to play games and was very competitive. Three of her four granddaughters were named after her, as well as her only great grandchild. She made holidays and birthdays truly magical, always going above and beyond for the children. She had an astounding ability to bring endless life and love into everyday life. Her laugh was contagious, and she had an amazing way of making you feel truly adored, appreciated and special.
Cremation is private at the Countryside Crematory. Arrangements are being made to bring her back to California to be with her husband and daughter.
