Elizabeth "Betty" Anne Vance (nee Taylor), a resident of the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, Illinois, formerly of Warrenville, OH, passed away quietly at 1:30am on September 8, 2021 at the age of 104 1/2. Betty was an accomplished classical pianist and singer, but she never played in public. She was also a self-taught artist in many mediums. Beloved wife of the late Robert George Vance; loving mother of Robert G. (Elaine) Vance; dear grandmother of David (Lannie) Vance and Karen Zenner; proud great grandmother of Zachary Zenner, Jacob Vance, Jordan Zenner, Connor (Casey) Vance, Bailey Vance, Megan Zenner, and Carson Vance; fond sister of the late Jim and Dick Taylor. Cremation private at Countryside Crematory. Interment Chautauqua Cemetery, Chautauqua, New York. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Betty's memory to The Lutheran Home 800 W.
